I. MESSAGE FROM CABA We hope you enjoyed Halloween with your family and are getting ready for the Holidays. It’s amazing that the end of the year is almost upon us. Since the last issue of ¿Que Pasa CABA?, our Mentor Program has recommenced. Thanks to Northern Trust and Squire Sanders & Dempsey, LLC, we were able to host two receptions to place mentees with their mentors and to announce the scholarship recipients. CABA is very proud of its scholarship program. Throughout the years, CABA has endowed a scholarship at almost every law school in the state of Florida. This year, in addition to those endowed scholarships, CABA set aside $50,000 for the award of five $5,000 Scholarships to qualifying students regardless of their law school affiliation, as well as $25,000 towards the endowment of a separate CABA Scholarship Fund. CABA announced the scholarships recipients at the Annual Fall Mentor/Mentee Reception at Northern Trust.
