The Cuban American Bar Association Announces Two New Scholarships!

Cuban American Bar Association President Marlene Quintana has been dedicated to the Mentoring and Scholarship Program ever since she became involved with the CABA Board of Directors in 2002. Since then, Marlene has overseen the endowments of several scholarships, including the latest one in 2007: The Justice Raoul G. Cantero, III Diversity Enhancement Scholarship at Florida State University. CABA has also proudly increased the endowments at several of the state's law schools.

CABA is pleased to announce that in addition to the law school scholarships available at the University of Miami; Florida International University; University of Florida; St. Thomas University; Nova Southeastern University; and Florida State University, this year CABA is proud to establish two new scholarships, available to those students who do not study at one of the above named law schools. The scholarships will be named after two dear CABA members who have been a pillar of strength to this organization for over thirty years! The names of these scholarships will be revealed at a CABA event later this year.

Please take a moment to review the scholarship criteria. The application deadline for these two new scholarships is October 1, 2008.
