BIOGRAPHICAL STATEMENT

Jose A. Garrido is the President of the Garrido Group of Companies. The Garrido Group of Companies is a privately held organization with investments in the United States, Latin America, and Europe. The vast majority of companies comprising the Group deal in the business of distributing consumer goods to more than twenty six countries. The Group's holdings also include investments in real estate, banking and other financial services in several of those countries. The Group additionally holds a strong commitment to promote education in these countries. Through the Garrido Foundation, hundreds of students have been able to become professionals and, at the same time, become involved in helping other disadvantaged students much like themselves.

Mr. Garrido practiced commercial and business law as a partner with the law firm of Patton & Kanner early on in his career. He joined his family’s food distribution company, Walton & Post in 1987. With a vision to expand in the different segments of consumer goods distribution, he spearheaded the drive to acquire and found various companies both in Latin America and Europe.

Today the Garrido Group is a vibrant group of companies distributing international branded product in over 32 countries. Mr. Garrido has always strived to support and create programs to help those underprivileged in our community that cannot help themselves. The Garrido Foundation sponsor many of these programs.
